Community Arts: Diversity collaboration
2016 – 2019
Working with Printmaking and ESOL students at the City of Glasgow College to create mixed media artwork for promoting diversity. Activities included cultural exchanges, photography, design, various printing processes, scanning and digital editing to enhance work using Adobe Photoshop.
The final work was showcased by the City of Glasgow College at the Embracing Diversity Awards where it has won 4 awards in 3 years including the best collaborative project with all the students receiving an individual Saltire Award from the Scottish Government.
Our aim is to empower our students with the knowledge, skills and confidence to challenge all forms of prejudice and discrimination.
